Who is the EBID?

Cottage Grove is a very unique community always adapting to meet the needs of a growing business population. Most communities have an Economic Improvement District (EID) or a Business Improvement District (BID) but Cottage Grove has tied both organizations into one by developing an Economic & Business Improvement District (EBID). Our local EBID represents our Main Street businesses from Gateway Blvd to River Rd. in Cottage Grove.

The mission of Cottage Grove’s EBID is to create an inviting community filled with thriving businesses and economic vitality.  Please read our blog for the latest news on how we achieve this.

The key community stakeholders of the EBID wanted to broaden the scope of economic impact for our city and not have it limited to any specific boundaries so they developed the Economic Development Committee (EDC).

The mission of the EDC is to drive economic development and employment to sustain a vibrant and independent community.
